My life is so busy right now....

I wish I could write and put lots of pictures here everyday. But my life is crazy... I don't feel like I have enough time everyday. I wake up, go to work, work until late, and then go back home and sleep... Well... very interesting for everyone else... But if someone is wondering why I never answear my phone, or emails. That's why...

Well last night I did something funny though. I was working with another girl named Solveig. And when we were cleaning up after the dinner around 8pm, we suddenly decided to sleep in a tent. Not on a normal camp ground. But on an island in the big lake Sirdalsvatne. The young people were going out there to grill hot dogs, and just do something together... So, Solveig and I decided to stay there after everyone left and we got someone to come and pick us up in the morning... And then I could be at work, just in time...

So we slept out in the open last night... (well, until it started to rain around 6am... Then we crept quickly into my tent...) We had a lot of fun, but didn't get as much sleep as needed... So im super tired, and really need to go to bed... Tomorrow I'll be making breakfast to 75people at 7.30.... Today was crazy, we had about 100 people for dinner... We ran out of regular plates and glasses, and it was very stressfull... At least we had enough food for everyone. Tomorrow is a special day, and people come from all over for the sermons. There is a famous preacher from Denmark, and everyone wants to come and listen. So we are planning on 200 people for dinner...

SO, Good night... No more internet for tonight... hehe....

And to all the Rogers... I really miss you guys!!! Im looking at my scrapbook when I miss you the most, and wish that I could be there again. But I'll come and visit as soon as it's possible!!!!

Lots of love from Norway

My relatives from Phoenix were in Norway the two last weeks. They stayed at my cousins house. They just redid their whole house, so the upstairs was finished just in time. My brother in law and my cousins husband worked many late nights to get everything done. Well done guys...! The house is very pretty inside now. And they also have a outdoor whirlpool. My cousins husband is reselling whirlpools so they got it a little cheaper. But wow, it's so nice to sit in there. You have different seats with different massage options. I've tried it a couple of times, and it's very relaxing. You can even put on lights that comes on in different colors. Really cool! hehe

Well. We went to a norwegian BMX track with Micha and the other americans (my second cousin one removed, or something(firmening)). But what I was trying to say, was that he is doing a lot of BMX in the US. He is really good and has won a lot of prizes. When I went to visit them in Phoenix I got to see lots of them. I even took a picture...





It was great seeing Sheila, Denise and Micha from Phoenix again. They also brought some friends, Mary and Bill. It was nice meeting you all! Hope you arrived safely in the US again!

And to everyone else in the US... Im waiting for you! My doors are always open... as long as Im here.. lol!

Bibelcamp

Last night Bibelcamp started at Tonstadli. Tonstadli is the christian campground where I work at lot. So now there is a camp until 21st of July. So, I'll be working almost everyday. I make breakfast, clean floors, prepare dinner and prepare cakes for the evening. I've been working at bibelcamp every summer(not last year when I was in the us) and it's almost the same people that comes back every year. On Tuesday all the people wants to go hiking. And they have asked me to be their tour guide, and take them to our cabin... Im so exited! It's one of my favorite thing to do. Im just a little bit worried that they are going to get tired. When we are going up to the cabin, it's kind of steep, and uphill all the time. But Im exited to bring them up there, since we have two canoes and a boat. There is also very beatiful!

Well. Im visiting my sister in law, and she is making pizza. So I better go. Her pizza is known to be the best(that's what my brothers thinks). Have a great week!

Last week I went to Oslo, the capitol in Norway. I was going to meet all the people, that I'll go to Kenya with. I found the Hard Rock cafe in Oslo, but they didn' have any nice shirts that I haven't bought yet. So I'll get Oslo later!!! ;-)

We walked around in downtown Oslo for a while, and shopped a little. Here is a picture of the palace in Norway too..

Then I meet my group. We were 10 people this time, but there are 3 more. Some of them were sick and stuff. It's very cool because the people are from all over Norway... We slept in something called gamma(or gapahuk). It's a rainshelter made of logs, with gras on the roof. I thought it was super cool!

4TH OF JULY

Happy Independence Day USA!!! I can't belive it's already July 4th. It's two months since I left the US. I hope all of you get a wonderful day with lots of fun. And most of all, enjoy all the fireworks... Sheila, Denise and Micah (who I went to visit in Phoenix) are in Norway right now. And they were sad since they are going to miss all the fireworks. And you can only buy fireworks around New Years Eve here. But lucky my brother had some from last New Years Eve. So then they get to celebrate a little too...
