Today is my dads birthday. Its a nice day to start blogging again, and to give a little update from my life. Im sorry that I haven't updated the blog in a half year. So many things have been going on since Christmas. And it has been a busy semester at school.
Two days ago I finished my third year in medical school. So now Im halfway in my studies. It feels good to be done for the summer. We had a a class in Microbiology and Immunology, and there were so many details to remember for our final exam this semester. But now Im done, and its all good!
In January I started taking a special course, so I can work in the ambulance. It was really fun, and very interesting. But it took a lot of time, and energy. It was especially stressful when we had school from 8-16, and then ambulance classes from 16-22. It felt like I was doing nothing else than school. At the end of the ambulance course we had to pass an exam, and then we were ready for work. So I have started working a little bit. And I will be working in the ambulance this summer. It is really a great job, and it gives me a lot of useful experiences. So I feel lucky that I got the possibility to take the course.
One of the reasons why I haven't updated my blog in so long is that my old macbook was not cooperating very well. The battery has been dead for one and a half year, and it has been giving me a hard time with full memory. So I have not been able to download my photos on my old mac. But on Thursday I decided to get a new macbook air. So now Im very exited, and I hope my new macbook will give me many great moments:-)
Well, now Im home at my parents farm. They are busy as always, and especially my oldest brother which is building a new barn. He is doing a lot of the work himself, and is working very hard. Yesterday one of my friends from high school got married. It was a great party, and a beautiful ceremony. Im also going to a wedding next Saturday, so that will be fun. I have so many great friends, and I feel very blessed.

Another exiting thing that Im exited about, is that we are going to arrange an alpha course at our congregation this fall. A friend and I were so lucky that we got to go to London on a Christian leadership conference. The Nicky Gumble who started the alpha course is pastor in Holy Trinity Chruch in Brompton. They arranged a conference for christian leaders from over 50 different countries, and we were a total of 4300 people gathering together in the great Royal Albert Hall. It was so inspiring! Alpha courses are being used in so many different countries, and it really draws people to Christ. We were reminded, that its important that we know that we are one body in Christ. We are many Christians in the world, and there are some differences between Churches, but the most important thing is the same. We all believe that God loves us, and that he sent Jesus to save us. And then it is a natural consequence that we want to share this truth with others. Alpha courses is about telling people what we believe in, in a simple and understandable way. So I believe that God can use alpha to introduce new people to the truths of God. In God all things are possible.
Sometimes I feel so small. There is so little I can do to change the world, and all the bad things that are happening here. But one thing that I have learned the last year is to enjoy small moments in life. When life is busy and things are crazy, its really a important to tressure small things that we can be thankful for. We are really blessed. And if we are thinking positive, and trying to share some happiness, it might bring blessing to others around us:-)
Have a great summer everybody.
