A group of people were going for a walk. It got dark to fast, and they were on the wrong side of an old bridge. To cross the bridge they needed a flashlight. The problem was that they only had one. There were lots of holes in the bridge, so only two people could cross at the same time. The battery was almost empty, but they knew that it would work for 17 more minutes.
The different people were walking at a different pace.
Grandpa Joe could walk across the bridge in 10 minutes, Uncle Ben could do it in 5 minutes, while the kids were much faster. Amy could do it in 2 minutes, and Matthew in 1 minute.
How can they all cross the brigde? The have to use the flashlight, and they can not walk more than 2 at the time. If Grandpa Joe (10) walk with Amy (2), they will use 10 seconds.
An example... Granpa and Ben walk over the brigde (they use 10 minutes), Ben walk back (5 minutes) and Ben and Amy walk across the brigde together(2)... But that can't be right, because they've already used 17 minutes and Matthew is on the wrong side.... (They only have 17 minutes...)
Do you know how to solve this one????

Grandpa Joe take Matthew on his back. and Uncle Ben takes Amy on his back, and then they wil use 15 minutes
wrong...!
do you have to use exactly 17 minuates
Yes... you can't use more time than 17 minutes... Then they would fall through the bridge and die!
It is not possible. It was a trick question:-)
amy and matthew go 2 minuates matthew throws the flashlight to grandmpa grandmpa CATCHES it and grandpa joe and uncle ben cross 10 minuates. 12 minuates in all!
It's not allowed to throw the flashlight. Then it will disappear in the dark
give us a hint
