Bug invation
One of our first days in Pokot it was raining. And then suddenly there were teremites flying all over the place. The teremites lost their wings after a little bit, and then they tried to get back onto the mud. But some died in the middle of the floor, and soon a big crowd of safariants came marching. There were millions of ants everywere!!! And they were "flesh eating ants"... We had nightsmares about ants that would come and eat us while we were sleeping. Pretty scary!

We have voted and you have definitely gone above and beyond any "clean the plate club" achievement level! The children are thinking that the foods they don't really care for are looking mighty appealing next to a mouthful of termites. You look like you are having fun on this great adventure in spite of the challenges. Hope you are well and we are praying for your mission (and for a good meal for you!) It's snowing today in Wisconsin and we're off to go sledding and then to the Weggies for so some ice skating. The cottage was beautiful today with all the snow hanging from the pine trees. Hope to send you pictures from your fan club.
