My name

I found out what my name means... Aud in norwegian means rikdom, which is translated riches or wealth. It has a Norse origin. In Norway almost every name has a special name day. And nameday for Aud is the 30th of July!!!

I also found a list of famous people with my name. One of them was called Aud the deeply thinking. She left the Orkney Islands in 890 and went to Iceland, where she was an ancestress for the chief family. There is also listed that Aud in the mythology is son of Natt (a guy named Night) and Naglfare (something with a nail). But it must mean that my name was a boyname then... Weird! There is also a famous acter in Norway named Aud Schønemann.

And if you were wondering. There is 13772 people named Aud, and 3931 of these doesn't have any other middle names... There is only one other person in that has exactly the same name as me. Cool!!!
